International Digital Producer / Localization Coordinator

The International Growth team is working to build and help execute Mailchimp’s playbook for short and long-term growth outside of the U.S. We are looking for someone to help us manage the execution of international go-to-market plans across web, email, and social channels. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with experience coordinating, supervising, and planning projects involving the creation of online content for mailchimp.com and other digital properties. They will not only work with the International Growth Team, but also Web Ops and CX partners across Marketing, Design, and Product to coordinate, build, and publish content across web, social, and email channels.

What you’ll do here: 

  • Build and launch translated versions of our English web pages, with support from the Localization Manager and Web Ops team
  • Coordinate and manage production workflows in our CMS including QA, page building, and maintenance in close coordination with and support of Mailchimp’s localization efforts
  • Provide day-to-day project management for digital projects and initiatives with multiple design and development teams and stakeholders
  • Facilitate communication between creative/content teams, product marketing, social, development teams, and Mailchimp’s localization team for mailchimp.com and other digital properties
  • Participate in digital project planning to help teams build project briefs, identify objectives, deliverables, and work efforts, and to assist with establishing priorities and schedule constraints
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings needed for digital projects planning and execution
  • Manage and work with third parties such as translation vendors as needed to execute on localization projects such as within our dot com or in other areas

Bonus points if you have experience in the following: 

  • Being multilingual, ideally French, German, Portuguese, or Italian 
  • Experience providing day-to-day project management for digital projects and initiatives with multiple design and development teams and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate requests, prioritize requirements, and align efforts across multiple departments and teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional experience with web design/management including familiarity with content management solutions 
  • Experience with TMS platforms such as Transperfect PD or full-service translation vendors 
  • Experience with headless CMS environments (Contentful) or equivalent CMS system a strong plus
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript 
  • Web design experience within an enterprise environment/large organization 
  • SEO knowledge 
  • Experience with enterprise level site localization 
  • Agile SCRUM experience 
  • Proficiency with ticket tracking and project management tools (Workfront, Jira, Trello, etc.)

The target base salary for this role is $83,000 to $100,000. Base salary will be determined through the selection and assessment process for this role relative to your experience and our job qualifications.
