Edgar Alejandro Garrido comes from a family of Dominican tailors, a profession that exposed him to textile waste at a young age.

Together with Stephanie Bezarra Rodrigues, he started Tiempo de Zafra, an on-demand brand of accessories and bags made from waste material.

The pair have coupled their brand with creative storytelling and activism about a culture of overconsumption.
